PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Print page This holiday apartment in Alvor is a 1st floor private apartment situated adjacent to the popular Club Alvor Ferias apartment complex. The apartment overlooks the complex and a small farm and an open view to the left. This apartment in Alvor is in a quiet relaxing area, its just 5 minutes from the fascinating small town of Alvor with its vast choice of places to eat out. Beautiful sandy beaches and coves are just about a 10 minute walk away. The apartment is our own home in Portugal and features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and accommodates 4 persons. It features 1 south facing terrace and 2 balconies.
For Golfers the Alto golf club is 5 minutes by car with the championship course at Pennina around 15-20 minutes away by car.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS: The large apartment is light, airy, comfortably furnished and equipped to a high standard as this is our own home.
A log burning fire and independent electric heating is fitted for those cooler evenings. The floors are tiled throughout with rugs in the bedrooms and lounge.
Entrance: The front door to the apartment opens directly into the lounge.
Lounge: Spacious lounge & dining area with seating for 6 people. Sliding patio doors lead out from the dining area onto a small south facing balcony.
Satellite television is provided with basic free English Sky channels.
Bedrooms: 1 double bedroom with large built in wardrobes and plenty of storage space, en-suite bathroom with bath/shower, WC & Bidet. 1 twin bedroom again with large built in wardrobes.
Bathrooms: Their are 2 bathrooms maintained to a high standard. Both are fitted with bath/shower, WC & Bidet.
Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, electric kettle, toaster, microwave oven, iron & ironing board etc. All crockery and utensils provided.
Heating: A log burning fire will be available during winter months (logs are available locally). Electric panel heaters fitted to hall and bedrooms.
Maid Service: Maid service is normally twice per week. Towels are changed twice per week, linen once per week. All linen (bed and kitchen) and bathroom towels are provided (please bring your own beach and pool towels). The apartment is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout.
Smoking: In the interest of others Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment. |

DISTANCE TO COAST/BEACH:
A pleasant 10 minute walk to the beautiful Alvor beach and coves. Apart from July and August the beaches are not crowded. Sun beds & umbrellas are available along the beach at a reasonable cost. A number of newly constructed beachfront restaurants have been completed and offer a good range of food and drink and WC facilities. |
DISTANCE TO AIRPORT:
From Faro airport the journey time will be approximately 1 hour using the new motorway that is open all of the way to Lagos. A map giving details of the directions will be provided. |
CAR HIRE:
A car is definitely beneficial but is not essential as coach transfers are available from the airport direct to Alvor. Our apartment is just a few minutes walk from the Clube Alvor Ferias reception area. Car hire can be arranged for you if required - please contact us for details. Taxis from the airport to Alvor cost around €50 |

BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS:
Minimum rental is 1 week. We shall require a 40% deposit at the time of booking with the balance due 4 weeks before arrival. Confirmation of your booking along with a receipt for your deposit and final payment will be sent to you well in advance of your departure.All prices include a weekly change of bed linen and twice weekly change of towels and the final cleaning after each occupancy. A breakage deposit of 200 Euros is required on arrival (this may be given as a Sterling cheque) and totally refunded at the end of your vacation after the keys have been delivered and an inspection of the apartment has been done. To try and make life easier for you we shall provide you with a map giving full directions and comprehensive written instructions to assist you with your journey from the airport to the apartment.We reserve the right to alter or amend interior fittings and furnishings etc without prior notice to improve the level of accommodation. |
