PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Print page
The Leziria / Waves apartments are located in a
pleasant residential area of Vilamoura, approximately 1.5km from the beach
and marina.
There is a supermarket and several restaurants nearby. On-site, there is a
reception, a swimming pool, splash pool, grassy sunbathing areas and a
family-friendly bar serving drinks and light snacks. There is also a
large-screen satellite TV, pool table, electronic games and occasional
evening entertainment.
The studios (1-2 people) and the one-bed roomed apartments (max 4 people)
are furnished in pine. All have a full bathroom, balcony and a kitchenette
equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster and electric kettle.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS:
Studios - Sleeps up to 2 people
The studios consist of a bed-sitting room (no separate bedroom)
with a kitchenette and a full bathroom.
Bed / Sitting Room: There are two single beds (cunningly disguised as sofas
for daytime use).
We do have a limited number of studios with a double bed - please request at
time of booking, but bear in mind that this is subject to availability and
cannot be guaranteed. In addition, there is a dresser, a dining table and
chairs and a coffee table.
Kitchen: The kitchenette is equipped with a cooker or cooking rings, a
microwave, fridge, toaster and electric kettle.
Bathroom: Full bathroom with bath (shower over), WC and wash hand basin.
Built-in wardrobe with private safe (small local charge).
Balcony with table and chairs.
Apartments - Sleeps up to 4 people
One-bed roomed apartments are the same as the studios but with the addition
of a separate twin bedroom.
Again a double bed may be available on request.
Sleeps up to 4 people plus an infant in a cot. We can supply a cot free of
charge on request, but please bear in mind that it may not conform to
British standards.

OUTSIDE:
There is a large swimming pool and a small
splash pool (this latter is separated from the main pool by a metal
safety rail) set in grassy sunbathing terraces. (Please note pools are
not heated.)

FURTHER DETAILS:
The apartments have a reception area to
provide assistance to guests. Money exchange, taxi calls, resort
information, car hire, excursions, water park tickets and airport
transfers can all be dealt with by our friendly receptionists.
While our apartments are not specifically adapted for wheelchair users,
there is ramp access to reception, lifts to all floors, and access to
the pool area is available through the bar on the lower ground floor (no
steps).
Maid service and towel change twice weekly, linen change weekly.
Please remember to bring your own pool and beach towels as we do not
supply these.

DISTANCE TO AIRPORT:
The nearest airport is Faro. Depending on the
time of day/year it takes about 20-30 minutes to get to/from the
airport. If required you can pre-book minibus transfers with us. Please
just let us know your requirements at the time of booking.

DISTANCE TO BEACH:
The apartments are located approximately 1.5km
from the beach, centre and marina. This is roughly a pleasant 15-minute
walk. Alternatively taxis are very reasonably priced and can be called
from reception or from the bar. For a fun way to get around there is a
little mini-train which goes all around the resort and stops just at the
top of the car park.

CAR HIRE:
Car hire is useful but not really
essential. Again we can arrange this for you - just let us know.

CHANGEOVER DAY:
During high season (July and August) changeover days are
Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Outside this period any arrival day is
fine with us.

BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS:
We require a deposit at the time of booking
which corresponds to the cost of the first 3 nights' stay. This should
be paid by bank transfer - we will give you the account details at the
time of booking.
The balance is payable on arrival. Please note that you forfeit your
deposit if you decide not to travel without letting us know.
